No experience needed at all. Our guides provide a full safety briefing and paddling instruction before you launch. The standard tours are designed to be accessible for first-timers while still being genuinely exciting. If you have prior experience and want something more challenging, tell us when you book and we'll match the route to your level.

Children aged 7 and above can join family-friendly sections on the Vjosa. There's no upper age limit — fitness and willingness to get wet are the only requirements. If you have specific health concerns, mention them when you book and we'll advise honestly.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour. If you need to cancel within 24 hours due to illness or an emergency, contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Weather cancellations are our call — if we decide conditions are unsafe, we reschedule you at no cost.

Swimwear to wear under the wetsuit we provide, a towel, sunscreen (important — the reflection off the water is strong), a change of clothes for after, and water or a snack. We provide the wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, paddle, and a dry bag for your valuables. Don't bring anything you would genuinely mind getting wet.

Yes — group bookings are something we love. Groups of 6 or more get a discount. Corporate events, birthday trips, stag and hen parties, family reunions — we've done them all. For groups of 12 or more we allocate multiple guides. Message us with your group size and we'll put together a custom quote.
