The basic rules of booking and traveling with Rafting Albania. Last updated: April 2026.
By booking a tour with Rafting Albania ("we", "us", "our"), you accept these Terms & Conditions. A booking is considered confirmed when we have received your 20% deposit by cash, card, or bank transfer and we have sent you a written confirmation by WhatsApp or email. The remaining balance is due on the day of the tour, before the activity begins.
The person who makes the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of the party understand and agree to these terms.
All prices listed on our pricing page and in our packages are per person, in Euros, and inclusive of equipment, guide service, and local transport unless stated otherwise. Prices may be updated at any time, but the price quoted to you in your written booking confirmation is final and will not change.
We may cancel or modify a tour for reasons of safety, including but not limited to: dangerous water levels, severe weather, or insufficient minimum group size. In such cases you will be offered, at your choice, either a full refund or a free reschedule to a future date. We are not liable for any third-party costs (flights, hotels, transport) related to a cancellation by us.
Rafting is an adventure activity with inherent risks. By participating you confirm that:
We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone we judge unfit to take part, for safety reasons. In such cases no refund is due.
Minimum ages depend on the activity. River tubing is open from age 6 with a parent. Standard rafting is open from age 7 on the Vjosa and age 10 on the Osumi, with a parent in the same raft. Hydrospeed and packrafting are open from age 16. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for their behaviour during the tour.
Rafting Albania carries liability insurance covering the operation of our tours. This does not replace your personal travel and accident insurance, which we strongly recommend you obtain before traveling to Albania. We are not liable for losses, injuries, or damages caused by accidents that fall within the inherent risks of adventure activities.
We provide waterproof bags for small personal items (phones, wallets, keys), but we cannot guarantee against loss or damage. We strongly recommend leaving valuable items (passports, cameras, jewellery) in your hotel safe and not bringing them on the river.
By participating in our tours you consent to being photographed and filmed by our guides and media staff. We may use these images on our website, social media, and printed materials for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please inform your guide before the tour and we will respect your request.
We collect only the personal information needed to operate your booking — name, contact details, and where relevant medical information you have voluntarily disclosed. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party except where required by law. We delete inactive customer records after 24 months.
Any dispute arising from a booking with Rafting Albania is governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, and shall be decided by the competent courts of Tirana.
