Paddle through 270 kilometers of untamed wilderness, dramatic gorges, and crystal-clear waters on one of Europe's most extraordinary rivers.
Book Your Adventure NowThe Vjosa is not just another European river — it is the continent's last great wild river, flowing 270 kilometers from the mountains of Greece through southern Albania to the Adriatic Sea without a single dam or barrier. In 2023, the Albanian government declared the entire Vjosa watershed a National Park, the first Wild River National Park in Europe. This means you are rafting through a protected wilderness that looks and feels exactly as nature intended.
The river carves its way through deep limestone gorges, past pebble beaches, and alongside forests of oak and Mediterranean pine. The water is remarkably clear — you can see the riverbed even in sections several meters deep. Eagles soar above the canyon walls, and the only sounds are the rush of water and your paddle cutting through the current. For anyone who loves raw, unspoiled nature, Vjosa River rafting is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that rivals the best rivers on any continent.
