Rafting in Permet with Kids

We welcome children from age 7 on the gentle Permet routes, with each child accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same raft. The calm Class I-II sections are ideal for younger paddlers — exciting enough to feel like a real adventure, but safe and forgiving. We provide properly fitted youth-sized helmets and life jackets, and our guides are patient and experienced with children.

Before you launch, your guide gives a clear, friendly safety briefing on land — how to sit, how to hold the paddle, and what the simple commands mean. Then you practise on calm water before any rapids arrive. There is nothing to be nervous about, and the guide does all the technical work.

One of the best things about Permet is what surrounds the rafting. After a gentle morning on the river, families often head to the free Benja thermal springs nearby — natural warm pools beside an old Ottoman stone bridge, perfect for tired little legs.
